What is covered in the Homecam Tent warranty?

We aim for your satisfaction with your purchase and strive to address any issues professionally. Homecamp Tents are covered by a 2-year manufacturing warranty, that covers defects identified during the initial use. Manufacturing faults should be evident upon the first use or inspection after setting up the tent.

If a manufacturing defect is confirmed, signifying a clear fault in production, we will promptly dispatch a replacement tent and arrange for the return of the faulty item through a courier at no expense to you.

To initiate a warranty claim, please email [email protected], providing your order number, a concise summary of the issue, and, if possible, relevant photos. If the matter falls under warranty coverage, we will provide you with a return number, and instructions, and coordinate a courier for pickup.

While Homecamp Tents are crafted for regular camping use, issues arising after exceeding 21 consecutive days of use is not covered by warranty. Responsible maintenance, including ensuring the tent is stored dry and implementing a regular cleaning routine, is the owner's responsibility. For maintenance advice, feel free to reach out to us at [email protected].

This warranty exclusively addresses manufacturing and material defects but excludes damage from misuse, abuse, wear and tear, condensation, extreme weather, accidents, improper setup, and damage caused by mould, insects, animals, or children.

Modifications, alterations, or the use of specific cleaning, treatment, or colouring agents will void this warranty. Homecamp disclaims all other express or implied warranties and accepts no liability for consequential or incidental damage or injury arising from using Homecamp products.

To clarify, our warranty does not cover:

  • General wear and tear from camping
  • Rips or tears in the canvas or floor
  • Wind damage
  • Mould or mildew damage
  • Issues with tents used continuously, either permanently or semi-permanently
  • Broken zips due to misuse
  • Bent or broken poles and pegs due to misuse

Occasionally, we may entertain a warranty claim that falls outside the parameters of our standard warranty. The decision to replace a damaged item or issue a refund, even when not covered by our warranty, is at our discretion. It's important to note that such discretionary actions do not include coverage for the transportation costs associated with the returned item.
