How do you make fire resistant canvas?

The Classic and Fieldcraft Tent ranges use Proban® fire-retardant canvas, treated during fabric production. It adds a layer of precaution for hot tenting, whether you’re running a commercial site with fire safety requirements or camping with your family.

The canvas has been independently tested by SGS to BS 7837:1996, the British standard for marquee fabrics. It passed with no after-flame or afterglow. It is also OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certified for harmful substances.and it meets stringent British, US and Australian safety standards.
